As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Brendon

Brendon Sewell began his real estate career in 2004, after working in various customer service roles. He is originally from Hawaii and has called Portland his home for 22 years. Brendon works out of John L. Scott’s Hillsboro Market Center office and helps clients buy and sell in five of the surrounding Oregon counties.

When Brendon began his real estate career, the market was booming, and as a newbie he wasn’t afraid to ask questions. During those early years, he was fortunate to have success while building a solid foundation and understanding of the real estate processes. Now, after more than a decade of real estate experience, he helps all types of buyers and sellers in Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Happy Valley, Sandy and Forest Grove. Whether it's rural property, residential, commercial, investment or developable property, Brendon can pull together needed resources and be instrumental in orchestrating the sale or the purchase of property.

Brendon’s extensive experience growing up in and around the hospitality and building industries coupled with three decades of work in customer service have given him the stellar communication skills and attention to detail needed to be successful in real estate. He goes the extra mile for his clients and isn’t afraid to show up with a flashlight to help identify the good, bad or the ugly of your home that could hinder your chances at making top dollar in a sale. Additionally, he does his best to point out concerns for financing or other deal breakers so clients aren’t left blindsided later down the line.

Integrity, honesty and professionalism are the top pillars in Brendon’s work as a broker. Whether clients are buying or selling a small condo or multi-million dollar portfolio, he treats them with the same Ohana “family spirit” he learned growing up in Hawaii. Brendon puts his heart into each transaction, and appreciates the opportunity he has to offer first-class service and help others build wealth through the American Dream of real estate.

When marketing properties, Brendon’s top priority is listing them with careful attention on the RMLS, so the first impression online is a positive one. He also employs Facebook marketing and has a vast network of the top brokers in the Portland area as well as previous clients.

Brendon and his family have been involved in the Muscular Dystrophy Association for two decades now, supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Portland. They also support organizations dedicated to finding a cure for spinal muscular atrophy, which has affected their family. Additionally, Brendon and his family are involved with their church and volunteer as they are able.

When he’s not working or volunteering, Brendon enjoys cooking, hiking, fishing, traveling or working on his 1970 Bronco.

Beaverton

The Beaver is Oregon’s state animal, and Beaverton is one of the best places to live in Oregon. Just seven miles west of Portland, Beaverton has a bevy of choices when it comes to homes, entertainment, careers and activities. Beaverton was once considered simply a suburb of Portland, but it has come into its own as a city in the past few decades. Our city was even as one of the 100 "best places to live", among smaller cities in the country named by Money magazine. Beaverton’s economy is thriving. Both Nike and Columbia Sportswear call land close to Beaverton home and many Beaverton residents work at these companies. As part of Oregon’s Silicon Forest, Beaverton is also home to several tech companies, include Textronix and the Linux Technology Center of IBM. The Terpenning Recreation Complex, which is maintained by the Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District, encourages Beaverton residents and people in nearby towns to stay active. The Complex hosts a pool, athletic center, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, multipurpose sports fields, skate parks, basketball courts and walking trails. Homes in Beaverton range from midcentury classics to luxury new construction. With easy access to both the Oregon coast and the Cascade mountains, outdoor activities are just a drive away. If you’d like to learn more about Beaverton, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.

Reviews

“Brendon has been a delight to work with. He helped me find my new home quickly. I recently moved to Oregon from work I only had 45 days of corporate living arrangements, Brendon was so efficient finding my new permanent residence in such a short time. He is a very honest hard-working and friendly person to work with. He cares to find you the perfect place to call home and will commit to deliver your request. I look forward to doing business with him again and I highly recommend him to be your real estate agent.”

“Brendon was very helpful throughout our search and home buying process. He helped us find a great house and shielded us from the drama involved with the purchase. From start to finish he went above and beyond.”

“I recommend Brendon to everyone I know! My husband and I both agree, he's the guy you want by your side when you're buying a home. He helped us to buy our first home in the difficult market of spring 2018. We had a great experience working very closely with Brendon and we are in love with our new home! He knows the area, he knows how to communicate with the selling agent, the styles of homes, the era of the homes and the quirks that come along with older homes, the ins and outs of the market, the small details that usually go overlooked. He is an expert and he is a professional. We are so blessed to have worked with Brendon and are so thankful for our new home.”
